Back Pack Ministry

As the new school year has started, we will again be providing backpacks of food and snacks for children in need. We will be sponsoring Tallapoosa Primary School this year. We are currently filling 15 bags each Friday. I will let you know as the need increases. Thank you so much for all your help and support with this last year!! The children are thrilled each week to receive these bags. Not only are they thankful for the food, but it makes them feel very special and lets them know someone loves them and wants them to be taken care of. Thank you all for making that possible!! We have two money boxes - one in the fellowship hall and one in the vestibule. The money and spare change that everyone has been putting in those boxes has been exactly what we need each week to purchase the items. PBC Caring Closet

Due to the needs in our community, PBC has a Caring Closet. If you know of an individual or family that needs some assistance, please contact Jennifer Dobbs, Alan Kiker, Rebecca Sheffield or Spencer Sheffield to coordinate helping them get the items they need.
